About L’Chaim Farm
L’Chaim Farm is a 6.5-acre kosher urban farm located in Dania Beach, Florida. We are a family-oriented farm offering horseback riding lessons, a daily petting zoo, pony rides, horse boarding, educational camps and school field trips, private event packages, and an Argentinian asado culinary experience from our partner, Lasso Kosher Grill, which incorporates seasonal ingredients grown on the farm whenever possible.
Above all, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of organic farming practices.
Our Mission
L’Chaim Farm goes back to the basics— to the traditional way of Jewish farming that respects the land and its people. Through our commitment to life, to family, and to quality, we also serve a greater mission: to build communities and pay it forward. Everything in life and in business cycles around.
We believe that when we receive, we must give back. Only then do we complete the cycle and only then do we become the humans we are called to be in this life. L’Chaim Farm embodies this call to purpose. We Make A Difference.
OUR FOUNDATIONS
What’s the story of L’Chaim Farm? This “urban wonder” is a passion project of Adam H. Hendry, a faithful member of the Chabad community.
Adam Hendry
Founder & CEO
Adam has a love of farming, healing the soil, and ranching. He wanted to provide easier access to high-quality Kosher products within our company.
This interest, combined with his background in real estate (Adam has been building communities since 2007, managing more than 20,000 residential units and 15 million square feet of commercial real estate), naturally led to his desire to create a family-friendly, Kosher-living environment where it was needed most.
Christina Alletto
Chief People and Animal Officer
Christina has loved horses all her life. Growing up, she cleaned stalls every day, just to ride for one week!
As our Chief People and Animal Officer, she is spearheading the team to produce the products and experiences for people and for our farm resident animals that make L’Chaim Farm special.
Christina lives on our farm and there’s never a dull day for her. You will see her birthing baby goats, making sure that our horses are taken care of with love and proper training, and tending to the products we sell.
On some days, she is designing and planning various events at the farm and even our yearly Summer Camp. She oversees that each delivers a family-friendly and Kosher-living experience for all to enjoy.
